Simon Withey

Chairman

Simon has been the Chairman of Harmonic since 2015. This follows a career spanning 35 years during which Simon held a number of senior and CEO positions. Simon has extensive experience in business services including outsourcing, consultancy and manufacturing in defence, infrastructure, maritime and training/education.

Tom Samuel

Chief Executive

Tom founded Harmonic in 2003, after a successful career working in the defence systems business and has led its growth to the present day. Alongside Tom’s passion for working with Harmonic’s clients to make a real difference, he is strongly committed to building and developing the highly skilled and vibrant team across Harmonic. In his spare time, he likes to cycle up big hills.

Cliff Green

COO

Cliff joined the Board of Harmonic in April 2018 and has had a varied and successful career spanning 25 years with VT Group, Babcock and Capita growing major businesses and start-ups across both the public and private sector. Cliff likes to work collaboratively with clients, partners and internal teams to achieve sustainable business change and growth.

Henry Gordon Clark

CFO

Henry joined Harmonic as CFO in 2016, with a background as a ‘Big 4’ firm chartered accountant. Whilst taking his responsibility for prudent balance sheet management seriously, Henry likes to challenge himself and the organisation to think and act laterally within the context of Harmonic’s core values: “Be Bold, One Team, Make An Impact”.

Mark Reynolds

Executive Consultant

Mark is an Executive Consultant who works with CEOs and senior leadership to support them in shaping their organisations and to get the best from their people.  Mark has deep experience spanning 20 years of large-scale transformations in Information Systems, Organisational Design and Regulatory initiatives working across a range of industries including Financial Services, Transport, Defence and Service sectors.

Mel Smith

Principal Consultant

Mel is a Principal Consultant having joined Harmonic in 2016 as a bid professional. Mel has experience in leading and coordinating large scale tender opportunities across multiple industries including defence, rail, private and local government.  Mel also Chairs the Board of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP UK), she is passionate about developing and improving the bids and proposals industry and sharing her skills with clients.

Edwin Swidenbank

Managing Consultant

Edwin has worked as a leading engineer and thought leader across several industry sectors, most recently in support to Defence Transformation. In partnership with clients, Edwin focuses on benefits focused business strategy, business analysis, business architecture and change and is passionate about leading and driving the development and maturity of organisational capability.

Emma Daniel

Senior Consultant

Emma is a Senior Consultant. She works with clients and partners to help them reach transformational goals through learning, communication and teamwork. Emma has taken on different roles on numerous different projects, specialising in Business Winning and Business Analysis activities. Emma is also motivated by personal development and is particularly interested in  business change and behaviour.

Katrina Leonard

Principal Consultant

Katrina previously worked for the MOD for 17 years as a Web Designer, IT Security Officer, Information Knowledge Manager, Business Manager and Project Manager. She left the MOD as a Senior PM where she had managed a team from the UK and US on a complex, high profile, secure IS system under NATO.

Pete Blunden

Managing Consultant

Pete is a Managing Consultant, he is a dedicated bid professional with over 15 years of bidding experience delivering high performing capabilities for clients across defence, rail, ICT and construction. Pete ensures solutions, strategy and content is focused on the end clients outcomes and is totally customer-focused.

David Miles

Head of P3M

David is a Managing Consultant with diverse experience across Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, IT and Consulting. He has an extensive background in delivery roles ranging from PMO, Business Analysis, Project Management, Programme Management and Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe®) delivery.
